Hey Guys,
I've got a guy who wants to sell me a muzzleloader, but the gun has no words or markings on it. So I was just curious if anyone here would know just from pictures what it is. And administrators feel free to move. I didn't know where I could post this. Thanks.

Probably a kit which would explain the lack of info.... you could buy em right after jeremiah johnson came out for $50 at hardware stores and still can today for 100$. The synthetic makes me think it's a little newer. Not sure what the asking price is but it doesn't appear to have the craftsmanship that a Lymans would. The rod sitting that far off the barrel is pretty text book of traditions but again its anyones guess if it's a kit.

If you're not in an area that requires true traditional ML's, you can get into a tack driver inlilne for $200. A used roundball like this I wouldn't be paying anymore than $100, but probably closer to 70-80$.... unless theres some paperwork.

it does look to be in pretty good shape....

Looks like a kit gun from CVA to me. Fancier engraving. Should be able to pick this up for $100 or less. I owned a CVA and they shoot good, BUT....get the hottest no. 11 percussion caps bc it had the worst ignition of any of my muzzleloaders, flintlock included. Found some vanderlander caps and hot caps gave me reliability of ignition
