My first bull...ever.

I've been hunting a long time and this past season was by far the best ever for me.  After a lot of close calls and blown chances over the years I was finally able to connect on a great bull.  More importantly my dad was there with me the whole time and he actually called the bull in for me.  He also took this awesome picture.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  While it does set the bar high for me next season...I was just happy to kill a bull.

I've already printed it on a 30x40 canvas and it's hanging in our baby's room; my wife is due in a few weeks and she demanded that we hang this picture there.

I've submitted the story to the guys here at Extreme Elk Magazine so I'm crossing my fingers that it gets published because it really was an incredible hunt.  Lots of ups and downs and it definitely wasn't easy.
