I can\'t find a PM function on here. But if you can figure out how to send me your mailing address, I\'ll send you one. It would be either the Chuckler EL or the Lil Chuckler EL. Your choice if you are interested.

Bill
You need 5 posts on this forum for the Pm function to activate.
Im not sure if Jarod really needs one of if he was just making posts??? :)

It was a little of both. I was wanting to post something and I am looking for a new bugle. I have the Terminator from Primos but after hearing someone else in the woods use it I don\'t like the sound of it. But i like how easy it is to use also.

Awwww! OK, I forgot about the 5 post deal. I\'ll get there eventually

I got your PM so don\'t go out and buy anything. I\'ll send it as soon as I figure out how to wrap it. May take a day or two.

That was being kinda rotten of me. Agreed, both of those calls are top shelf & with practice will sound like bullwinkle himself. wait, wasnt he a moose??

hello all! Looking foreward to increasing my knowledge of the elk woods here! Thanks Brad for the invitation!

So what bugle would you recommend when size and weight would be a factor? There are a few in the bargain cave at the Cabelas in Wichita but I would rather not spend money on something that neither sounds good or works well! Thank you. Tim

Welcome Tim! I am not an archery guy, so won\'t be able to give you a whole lot of helpful advice, but I\'m sure one of the many knowledgable guys that are already here will be able to help you out.

Welcome aboard \"Maineman\"! Seriously, both of the bugle tubes mentioned above are fantastic if you can work a reed call. If not, either learn to or Primos does make a good bugle tube that sounds pretty realistic. Only problem is theres alot of them in the high country in Sept. They all sound alike.

Howdy Tim
Glad to see you here!

You didnt mention if you use a diaphragm or an external mouth piece for a bugle.

One of the best external sounding bugles I have used is the E.L.K. Royal Bugle.

Primos does make good calls but like Buglemaster said everyone has one. That is why I am changing this year to something else.

cnelk mentioned E.L.K. Inc. Royal Blue . But the old Power Bugle is a good one also. And you can pick them up at just about any
K Mart or sporting goods store. They are great for the guy that has trouble using a diaphragm call.

One of these days I\'m going to take the mouth piece from my old Power Bugle and stuff it in the end of a plastic ball bat and see if I can tweak a little extra out of it.
