NM mountain mule deer hunt, 2015

I am hooked. I am on a full fledged mission now to shoot a good mule deer next year.
I am going to start doing my research now and make a good hunt.

Whether it\'s me attempting a zero point CO unit.
Me cashing in a WY PP for a unit.
Montana elk/mule deer combo.
Or me just drawing a good unit in NM.....

SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN.


Now I am just antsy for Oklahoma :upthumb:

It\'s tough for me to put the bow down, but it was actually nice going into this hunt with the rifle.
It was the first time in 3 or 4 years that I\'ve picked it up. :upthumb:

At first I was worried this place would be long distance shots, but the field I took the video of was my only opening.
Everything else was dense and bow country.


Now the bow comes back out to play in Oklahoma!!!! :dance2:

After my Oklahoma trip and your Illinois trip(good luck), I\'ll shoot you a PM.
I just need to figure out what units are zero point units.
Then I\'ll start researching them.


That just gives me an excuse to hook up the trailer and come up to CO camping this summer. :upthumb:

Those were great pics. One of these days I\'m going to try mule deer hunting as well. It\'s never a loss when you are in the mountains, that was some beautiful country. Good luck on the whitetails.
