Andy, that\'s exactly what happened to me in my new unit. Striking gold, then finding out other guys not only knew about it, but were hunting it all wrong and blowing them up so nobody had an opportunity. I had fun last summer scouting and camping with my dog. But as far as actual value, it was mostly in learning the overall country and how everything connects up.
Thankfully I was able to use that knowledge to out hunt the other hunters by going the opposite direction.
