Congrats bnsafe! When I turkey hunt, jakes are fair game, especially with my bow! When it comes to whitetails I have some standards but on turkeys it is strictly for the fun of it! Several of us guys always hunt together and in the order of what makes for a good hunt, the size of the bird comes in about third. Again, congratulations!

thx main, i havnt shot a jake in 15 yrs, but he was a merriams an he was close enuf. i really think i woulda killed a mature bird if i had waited, but what the heck, i dont really care, i killed a merriams.
