I am much more likely to this year than last. I want to check out a new area, hunt with my son, and check some range items I feel need to be addressed. That is of coarse in addition to filling a near empty freezer.

I will definately shoot. Then I can relax and fish and scout till the second week then help a fellow bowhunter fill his tag.

hopefully i will be mulie hunting opening day, but if im elk hunting i will def put one thru the boiler. i had 2 legitimate chances last year so im not passing on one. now, if i had killed more elk it would prob be a different story.

No rag bulls for me. I\'d like to see the culture in deer hunting (dinks are for kids and new hunters) permeate the elk culture. I would however shoot a cow but not on the opener, too much fun still to be had!

Would you explain why you say this, and would you like every hunter to feel the same way? How do you think this would be for herd control?

My freezer is getting empty.

My philosophy is I buy a tag to put it on an animal.
I\'m a hunter.
