Thankfully, I remembered in time ... and sent my CC information to the State of Colorado to buy another deer and elk PP.

10 each, now.

Anyone else saving points?

I too just put in for PP this year. Deer/elk/pronghorn
Saving ? Not sure.
I know I won\'t save elk PP like I have in the past.

I wish I would have started when I first went to Co. I will have 5 this year.

This year, I burned my 4 deer PPs because I wanted to hunt deer in the same GMU as I hunt elk. I won\'t be saving deer PPs anymore.

After this \"drawing\", I will have these CO PPs:
8 Elk
2 Moose
4 Pronghorn

I have the minimum amount of PP\'s needed for the elk unit I want to hunt, so I may draw into it this year.

Used all my deer points last year.

Antelope: 13
Moose, Sheep and Goat: 7 weighted points
Bear: 12

I\'ve only got 3 elk points but i think I\'m gonna burn them. If i don\'t i kinda feel like I\'m gonna get into no man\'s land. I\'ll never catch a premium unit & can kill alot of elk between now & the next spot I feel I could draw that\'d be any better than what I can now. May hold off on burning my deer points tho.

I am trying to redeem most of my points this year, but we\'ll see how that goes. I am right on the outer limits of drawing a deer tag. I should draw my pronghorn tag this year. And then there\'s moose...here\'s to hoping!

I put in for my Elk point in Colorado. I will have 2 now. I should have started this in 2000 when I first started chasing elk. I thought about applying for a deer tag too but not sure I would give up elk hunting to chase deer.
