To answer some questions:

1. They are very good to eat. My wife prefers them over elk, which is why we got the doe tags.

2. .30-06 this year with 165 grain Hornady GMX bullets. Overkill, perhaps, but they buck the wind, and do the job when they hit.

3. Hunting partner? Most years, you wouldn\'t want to be my hunting partner, since I generally don\'t get my freezer to capacity ... but as they say, \"Make hay while the sun shines.\" So we are. Antelope with a rifle are not the most difficult quarry out there, and they are fun to hunt. As opposed to elk, which you may not see for days while hunting, generally we see hundreds of pronghorn on an average day of pronghorn hunting.

We\'ll head back until the end of the season, looking for another buck and a couple more does.

john we have a little time to discuss goat hunting before next year. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do for next year yet. goats have been growing more in my favor since I was out in buffalo in july. it didn\'t help when I almost blasted a few with my truck on 212 going from belle fourche to crow agency, mt..... I would like to talk to you about how you hunt them though.

zpd307 ... pm sent.

So, today while we were out, I was going to show my son the golden eagle kill (above).

Guess what ... it was gone. GONE. Except 1 picked-over front quarter.

Lifted up, not drug off.

Big, big birds.
