Quail hunt Friday

Did some quail hunting today and almost limited out. Does anyone have any good quail recipes that they would like to share? Tonight I am keeping it simple. Putting a little honey teriyaki glaze on them and cooking them over some hot coals.

dont overcook is the best advice i have. mom always cooked them like chicken nuggets, there were awesome. enjoy

did you pluck or just breast them out?

i pluck..but only because i suck at hunting quail and rarely have a lot of them to pluck

plucked, butterflied, salt/pepper..grill. damn fine eating, but only as an appetizer.
