I have a sight that I want to try out that needs new fibers. I ordered some from a company a few years ago and was not happy with them. They broke easily. Does anyone have experience with replacing the fibers and know where to get some that are Strong and Bright? I need .019 fibers in red and green.

Check this thread out. <!-- l --><a class=\"postlink-local\" href=\"http://www.backtrakoutdoors.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2502&p=33254&hilit=fiber+optic#p33254\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2502&p=33254&hilit=fiber+optic#p33254</a><!-- l -->

I may have leftover fibers - Ill have to check

Get fibers from Scott Custom Archery. Toughfiber is what I use. It doesn\'t melt into a perfect ball like other fibers but if you mess with it enough you will get it perfect. The upside is that the stuff is bright and nearly unbreakable.

Also....I would reconsider on red. Depending on your age you either have a problem with red pins or you will. Red is the worst color to halo or starburst. I would recommend the green and orange/yellow.

Thanks for they reply and link Mark. I was told about toughfibers by Razorback but couldn\'t seem to find a place to get them. Green seems to be brightest for me and I want to alternate colors. I will look into the orange or yellow instead of red.

Sorry I should have sent the link. I have never actually used them just talked to people who have. They seem to be the best. Last I checked you could get 5 12\" for $11.

The last G5 sight I had came with crappy fibers. If your sight is like the one I had, if you order the Toughfiber it will be a major upgrade over what you are used to.

That is the plan.
