Sad day for our nation as last night one of our Heroes, Navy Seal and author of "American Sniper" Chris Kyle was murdered in Texas by 25 year old veteran Eddie Ray Routh. Chris was with the struggling former soldier on an outing on Saturday, hoping a day at a shooting range would bring some relief to Routh's PTSD. In 2011, Chris created the FITCO Cares Foundation , to provide veterans with exercise equipment and counseling. He believed that exercise coupled with the camaraderie of fellow veterans could help former soldiers ease back into civilian life.
Prayers go out to his wife, two kids, parents, friends and the Seal community. Great loss of a great warrior.
