Ripcord cord attachment

I was able to get a store return ripcord code red for an awesome price, only thing is there are no instructions, and no football clamp. Neither of which are a big deal.

My queston is who uses the clamp, and who serves the cable in?
can you post a picture of how you attach the cord if you don't use the clamp.

Jimbow, I use the QAD with the football. I think there are some YouTube training on installing yours. Here's a web site with a ton of info.

This was how I attached the cord, I separated the down cable in half, threaded the ripcord cable through and served it in. there was enought tension I was able to pull the ripcord through until it was perfectly timed, then trim it and melt a ball stop on the cable, I really do like this rest, it was simple to tune, and it is quiet.

Be careful if you serve it in. Mine slid up the cable and I didn't realize it until I tried to draw on a bull. My arrow came off the string as I drew.
