Role Call - When Do You Leave?

Setting up camp tomorrow. Back next Thursday, hunt starts Saturday the 29th. I\'m off the grid for the whole month of September, either hunting myself or guiding my fantastic 65 year old moose hunting couple from NM, hunting my unit with trad bows.

Headin out on the 4th or 5th and coming back on the 13th. Possibly go back out from the 26th to the end.

Rag Wreckers Rule! (what is a wapinator anyway? Sounds like a contraption that\'s used in a long term care facility! Maybe something the \'Golden Oldies\' take with them to camp!) :dance2:

You won\'t be needing to go back out the 26th. You will be sitting at home with your wife eating tenderloins

:upthumb:

Leaving the 17th and won\'t leave until the 27th. Not sure how Internet or service is. Will be there even if I tag out. There is beer to be drank dag nammit

My hunts(s) will be somewhat fragmented.
Head up Friday the 28th for opening weekend with Pikemaster
Work for 4 days and head up on Thursday the 3rd for four more days with Pikemaster, Aaron Johnson and hopefully my son can come for 3 days.
I will have some cell service occasionally to make some updates.

Then head up to Wyoming on Sept 11th. And be off the grid for 9 days.

Leaving the 28th to set up sheep camp. My elk hunt will start the moment I tag my bighorn ewe, which will hopefully be on the opener, 31 Aug. I\'ll drive straight from sheep hunting to elk hunting!

I have a club you can all join: Hunters Against Weddings During Elk Season - HAWDES... been getting out of control with my friends as far as weddings go the past couple of years.

Or how about HAHBDES...hunters against having babies during elk season! My sister is due Oct. 22nd, which is a little close to our Oct 10-14 hunt...needless to say, my brother-in-law doesn\'t get to hunt this year. He deserves it for making such a rookie mistake!

Yeah that is a good call, have a hunting buddy who had his kid in September a couple years ago. Have to think about birthdays too... can put a damper on things!

Bumping this up for the rifle crew. I\'ll be heading out next Thurs and plan to stay until Wed. I\'ll do my best to post an update, but I have pretty bad coverage up there. Any other rifle hunters heading up?

Good luck, Derek.

I leave the 8th after work, set up camp late that night and go out glassing all of the 9th. Then my buddies rifle hunt is the 10th-14th.

I\'ll be helping him the 10th, 11th, and 12th. I hope I can get him into some! His sons would FLIP :upthumb:
