This morning we went and found a spot for Johns tree stand.
Fresh elk crap was everywhere

But really, thanks for the compliments about the horses. They are a few of the things in my life that I\'m really proud of.

Last night we went for a short walk from camp and on our return we came around a corner in the trail and we spotted 2 cow elk about 100yds in front of us.
I took a pic, but i have to lighten it up to see the elk.

That looks like a fun trip!! It is always fun to see new country from the back of a fine horse!! I also would like to see some of the tricks cnelk has up his sleeve as well. I have never put up a treestand for elk but you never know... maybe sometime! Fun Stuff---> Troy
