If you haven't purchased something yet you might take a look at the Springfield Armory XDS 9mm. Great shooting gun, easy to carry, and you can get them with 7+1, 8+1, or 9+1.
I just called and a few of the locals shops have it. I?ll go hold it. I?ve got a few friends who are letting me shoot their 9s after the new year so I?ll be able to test a bunch out.
