Sleeping bag question

You pay for what you get. Simple as that. More expensive and warmer bags will be lighter in weight. Wait for the right deals and you can get a steal. I personally don't like wearing my clothes while I am sleeping but I do use most of them as a pillow. Nothing worse than waking up and getting cold and putting cold clothes on.
This year I used the BA Mcalpin 5 Deg. Worked awesome through out the trip and was very happy with it. If you use the suppression straps it can squeeze down to nothing and is very light weight. I plan on adding that to my gear for next year.

Awesome, thanks for All the info. Loving the bivy sac, didn't have time to buy a new bag before antelope season started, then fell right into deer and elk. Got it done though with my north face bag, thankfully it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. Good luck and congrats to the victors!
