Early bow season before the weather gets bad I have a lucky pair of pumas I wear. They are super light and really easy to be quiet when making stalks. Last 3 bucks I have killed I was wearing them. Anyone have a good pair of shoes they like to where when closing the distance.

Yup, a pair of Danner Jackal's. Very soft and quiet. Love those boots.

I saw on western extreme he wore some of those vibram five finger (the toe shoes) with socks over them.  I thought those thingswere so stupid until I saw that, but I gotta say that's probly pretty sneaky.  Still look stupid on all those yuppies wearing them around college campuses.

I know a guy who used to wear wrestling shoes until he had a stick go in his foot while getting on some elk, seems like you give up support for quietness or vise versa. My dad used to stalk mule deer in the dessert with a couple pairs of tube socks, but thats a lil different terrain

Love the Danner Jackyl's.  I have a pair myself. I will don my faithful tennis shoes if the weather is nice (no mud).
