Hey guys,Ive been practicing my bugle and wanted to see what needed to get better.you know how it goes,it is hard to hear yourself after a while and is good for someone to give you feed back.Im using Glacier watermelon.Anyone elce feel free to post up there practice bugles!

Not bad!

I would break up your bugle practice into two parts, first the bugle and then the chuckles

I think the peak pitch could go a bit higher.
And if you want a growl in front of the bugle, just Growl yourself and put it in.
Then tail off.

Work on the chuckles, only 4-5 at a time. Uhg ugh ugh ugh...
 
I agree with cnelk on the high note in the bugle. Generically speaking anyway. Always good to vary your calls from time to time. Something I need to work on myself. If you shorten up the growl/low tone in the beginning you might find it easier to hit that high note. I liked the sound of the last 3 chuckles. Maybe try snapping your tongue off quicker on the chuckles.

Posted it awhile ago for practice. Havent done much this year....and its about time i start shooting and calling more.

4 different bugles and 2 cow if you look at all of them. love the glacier country hunting calls :clap:
 
hows this one,trying to hit a higher note at the top and working on the chuckles
