Spike Hunting Tactics

I'm going to be hunting spike for the first time this year in Utah. It will be during the first and second week of October. What are some tips and tactics for hunting spike during the mid-season?

lots of glassing.  Get away from the crowds , the first weekend of that hunt you'll still get the bulls to bugle.. good way to locate a herd..
