Stainless VS Blued Muzzy Barrel?

I have someone ready to trade me a Knight Disc Extreme for a shotgun of mine and the Knight has a blued barrel.  I am really new to muzzy hunting and from what I have heard corrosion is a huge issue.  It is a brand new muzzy so I know it isnt pitted up right now but should I hold out and try to get one with a stainless barrel?

I am a traditional round ball guy but ill say this blued barrels will hold up well as long as you maintain them which requires more care than stainless but both require regular maintenance to operate at maximum potential. what shot gun is he trading for?

Yeah I am hoping that it isnt too much more labor intensive.  I would really like to get a muzzy thatwill last many years to come.

I would be trading him a Brand New in Box TSA 12 Gauge Semi Auto

Yes his muzzy is brand new in the box but it is a few years old.  He said he bought it and never used it.

well it seems pretty fair trade.
the stainless vs blued only difference is you need to wipe blued down after each use but either way after shooting either one you'll need to clean it  properly asap simply because black powder is way more corrosive than smokeless and even stainless will corrode

OK thanks Cowboy.  I think I will be happy with th blued.  I am hoping that the Disc Extreme isnt too dificult to clean.  I have heard that the break action muzzys are easier but the way that you just pull the breach plug out the back of the Disc Extreme looks like it will be really simple.

should be easy as pie when you buy your rounds and such just talk to the local guy on the things you need to clean it its a bit different than typical gun stuff at least my traditional is i use soap and water. never cleaned a inline cant imagine it to be to different

Didn't Knight go out of business ?.
my concern would be getting the disc, and any other part if needed ?.
