Well got back yesterday without an elk in the truck. We saw lots of elk, talked to a few bulls, and scared a few. I had an opportunity with a cow, but was worried about getting the meat out before spoiling. temps were ranging between 40 and 80. Soooo anyone got any good tag soup recipes? Anyone else miss out on an elk in the truck??

Ill be headed out next week for five days, i will let you know how it goes. Last couple years i ate tag soup with a bunch of hot sauce on it but still didnt change the bad taste that was left in my mouth after the season. Oh well. This year is different.

i was able to get into some animals this weekend but like a lot of folks on here I too am looking for a recipe for fresh poop and bed soup, going to need heavy seasonings though.
