The buddy system

I see on TV all the time when people are hunting elk they sometimes have several guys calling and a shooter our front. I was wondering how many people have tried this and if it works. Thanks.

I believe it's one of the most effective ways to archery hunt elk.  It keeps the elk concentrated on the calls allowing for the shooter to have the best chance at getting a shot.

I've killed bulls alone and with a hunting partner calling behind me. Hands down having someone calling behind you is the way to go.

I'm sure it is effective to have a buddy calling behind you, but I prefer to go solo unless my son is the buddy.
