I keep my travel trailer at base camp for the entire season. One problem we face is running out of water. It\'s nice to occasionally take a show.....etc so we always bring 24 extra gallons every time leave town. Once we arrive at base we transfer the water from the 6 gallon jugs into the resevoir. But here lies the problem. The water intake on trailers are not very \"jug\" friendly and 50lbs of water is heavy. So my son and I built the solution this afternoon.

My uncle has a small submersible pump that works well in a 5 gallon bucket for filling the camper all so.

This year i will be using a pump to fill my camper with colorado creek water.we never drink from the camper just for showers and such
