Looks yummy Rudy. I will be having elk steaks on the grill this week too. Just not sure what day. Nothing better than fresh ones at elk camp though. Very rewarding.

I had bacon wrapped backstrap Friday for dinner. Yum!!
Tonight elk chili that I put together yesterday afternoon in the slow cooker, I just sampled it and it is very good.
We try to have an elk meat dinner at least once a week, sometimes more.
The freezer is finally starting to have some room in it again. Should be pretty empty about the time the season starts.

i have to say i would prefer the walleye, im just not a big game animal fan to eat. i can eat elk if i kill it with other stuff, but not just by itself. good to hear from you rudy. how is everything
