nothing bums me out more than losing a turkey. i think it is because they are so difficult to track and find, if you dont plant him right away.

here..the smilie face is my shot..is the red dot better?

i am having some arrows made up for the Bullhead turkey decapitation broadheads.

doing some BEMAN 0,300\" spine arrows..full length. (32\"??) and i annoyed the bowshop guy cuz i asked him for 4 vanes. FFP360 3\" vanes.

this of course changes everything. i have both arrows with me. but it is really my brother that wants to go for the decap shot.

The say goes \" hit them hi and watch them die, hit them low and watch them go\".
I like head shots when they are in close and you don\'t need to take their head off for a kill.
Now on a strutting tom there are lots of feathers being puffed up and most guys miss the bird when aiming too high.
That smiley face is just about right, put one in there and you should have a flopping bird on the ground. The eye is an excellent aiming point.

Notice how much cushion is above the kill zone?
That\'s the reason a lot of bowhunters miss high only taking feathers off.
