Landed my first MA (30\"+) eye of the year! She was 31.5\" but very old and very skinny - scale was out of batteries, so didn\'t get an accurate weight, but probably in the 8-9 lb range. No eggs, scales/fins starting to look rough. She swam away fine but don\'t think she has many years left in her... Thankful for the opportunity!

Here is one from last year - 31\" /11 lbs in her prime - pre spawn to give you a better feel for how skinny that one was! (And for a little bragging of course ;) )

Had another 30+ up to shore, but hooked in the side of the face with not a good grip on the lip. Good healthy fish looked around 11 pounds or so! First big one I have ever lost, so not too upset but definitely stings a bit... Been wondering when it would happen haha.

Good luck to all you night stalkers out there!
