Wardens is a show that has a camera crew follow around Montana Fish and Game wardens on the job.Have any of you guys seen this show and what are your opinions?

I think i\'ve seen all of them. I like it, but I have to wonder if they act different when the camera is off? They seem to let a lot of guys off that should have got a ticket.

I\'ve seen the North Maine woods one, not the warden one.

One of the guys on North Maine woods one reminds me of Brad.

Here in MT some people feel that the cameras have pressured the wardens to make citations for minor infractions to get enough footage for the show.
Case in point....

In my opinion these hunters did nothing wrong!!! They had no ill intent and tagged the elk. No different than Thousands of other lawful hunters here every year. I am not sure what I would do in this situation, but seeing the results here, I would request a jury trial right there in the field on camera! This laws wording needs to be changed slightly if the MT FWP are going to act like this! A verbal warning should have been more than sufficient!!

My cousin is an OSP game warden. What a jerk.......I mean no comment. :silent:

Laws that allow or require individual interpretation should be addressed and rewritten.

I feel a warning to tag the animal before moving it would have been all that was needed. That really sucks what happened to them guys. Takes the fun out of hunting.

i like watching the show but after reading this im not sure what to think.

As for the link to the case Glacier posted, sometimes it all boiles down to if you encounter seasoned warden with some common sense or a new college educated idiot warden that is trying to put a feather in his bonnet.
