Went yesterday eve and checked a water hole in the timber i found last year. It was trampled with tracks but didn't look like there was a cup or two of water in it. Should i still sit it if there's barely any water in it? Super dry here in CO.
I might check there and see if there is evidence of wallowing. The rut should be picking up so wallows might be good but active water will bring in cows and hopefully bulls with them if you are looking for a place to sit. I would probably check it and call a little around there but I don't think I would plan to sit there.
