Welcome New Guys!

Welkcome to all the new Guys from the last couple days. I see a lot of familiar names. It must be getting cold on the other site. Who is keeping the fire going in their camp? I haven\'t even lurked over there for a few days.

I think I found my new home. :)

I became a student of many of you mentors about a year ago on another site. I frequented that site for your info and it hasn\'t been the same without you. With that being said, glad to have found the new hangout!

Hey Brady~
We appreciate that!
Glad to have you here.
Let us know if you need something or have a question

Newbie checking in! I like many others came from another camp which has lost a lot in the last month or so. Glad I found ya!

Anyways my name is David and I\'m from Ohio and this will be my 3 season chase elk in the flat tops of Colorado. I hunt with longbows I build so I\'ve got to get them in extra close so all the info I can gain from you guys is great! I hope to in the future return the favor of info.... like others I think I found a new home

Thanks
David

Glad to have finnaly found my way here. Nice to see some names I have not seen for awhile.

Thanks for the help with getting on here Brad and Dana.

New guy here from Missouri, putting together a DIY solo public land archery hunt for mule deer in the high country in colorado.

I am a traditional bow hunter. I dreamed of hunting out west, 3 years spent running ultra trail races and buying used gear, it\'s a go.

Tags been applied for, some folks pointing me in the right direction, I am very pleased. On of them recommended this site. I like to see all the pics from out west and read of these adventures.

Adam

Welcome to the forum Francis [FM] and Kebler.
Good to have you.

Kebler - Are you applying for a High Country deer tag?

Like most people here, I\'m following the rest of the herd. It just took me a few extra days to catch up. I hadn\'t realized how many really good mentors had vanished until I looked around on here today. I am glad to have found you. Looks like I have some reading to do to catch up.

Follower here. I was missing the information you guys were willing to share and look forward to learning more.

Brent

Hello Brent~
Glad to see you.

This \'camp\' is probably a bit different
We welcome different topics and ways to learn.
We share \'all\' types of info that can help anyone become a better elk hunter.
It is not money based, we have no egos and most important we are the \'Elkmentors\'

New to forum, from Pennsylvania, friend and I are planning a back pack archery hunt for elk, going OTC. Since I\'m retired, and he is almost, we can take the whole season, if need be. GMU\'s we\'re looking at are 43, 421, 521, and 70. Been talking to game managers, studying maps and harvest stats.

Welcome, Sojourner!

I\'m kind of envious of your time-off ... the whole season? Man, if I had that time, and I will one day, I\'d take my time driving across the country, and really enjoy it.

I don\'t know anything about where you\'re planning on going, but good luck! And welcome.

Hey guys I\'m new to the site and I am willing to share any and every thing with you all !! I have a vast amount of elk knowledge as I have been fooled many many times by the elk in the wilds of Alberta !! If I can help out any way let me know !!

I also have a elk call company called Wapiti River Outdoors so if any of you are having a hard time with calls let me know and we can get you on the right track with a couple simple tips !!

The first tip I can tell you is the elk WIN more than they LOSE !! We all get used to that !! After all that is why we are all here !! LOL
