What are you using for a daypack?

Have worn packs while riding but alway worried about getting hung up on a branch or unseated and landing on a Nalgene or spotter. Harder to get on and off with the pack on too.  Not a good place to tie a pack as rain gear and maybe a coat on the cantle or a heavy coat goes on the pommel.  It carrying stuff off the horse thats the problem. Cold weather clothing and water is concern. Anything but a very small  pack on the horn seems like it always is in the way.

Tenzing and badlands make great packs, been using them for years. Only 2 issues I've have with them- heavy and don't expand to carry the first load of elk meat. Been slinging meat bags over my shoulders for years. (See exhibit a below) So this year I looked into expanding, light day packs which led me to only 2 obvious choices. Stone glacier and Kuiu. Excited to try my kuiu ultra 3000 for spring bear.
