After a few years of putting some expensive wear on my truck, I'm going to be picking up an ATV soon. I'm looking at the honda ranchers. Nothing crazy, just something to get me from point A to point B.

I'd LOVE to go buy a new side by side ranger, but I just don't have the room for it.

I've still got my 1998 Polaris 300 Sportsman that is in pretty good shape for it's age but I gone completely to my 2010 Polaris Ranger 400HO midsize UTV... More comfort and room. Gets good gas mileage. And gets me to were I want to go and sometimes places I don't want to go again.. ;D ;D

You might look at the Polaris Ranger midsize. They don't make the 400HO anymore but  make something in to 500 to 600 range in the midsize... They say my 400HO will fit in the bed of a long wheel base pickup.. Never tried but looks like it would if I didn't have a trailer... But I'd hate to try and load it... ;) ;)

Suzuki king quad 750. Hasn't let me down yet. Other than that time I put gas with ethanol in it and let it sit. But that's more user error

Sta-Bil is a cheap alternative... I always treat my gas left in the tank after the season and again on the 1st tank full of the season...

Just purchased a 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 550.  Reason?  I've used my Dad's 350 for years and it's the most reliable ATV as far as always starts first try and shifting between F and R is much easier than the Polaris Sportsmans I've used.  Also like the clearance on the 550 since it's on the 700 frame and this one came with Power Steering which is really nice when navigating through tight spots.

I prefer the quads I was born with :-D , there is very little if any motorized access where I like to hunt with the exception of immediate trail head access. For that, the ole Ford Ranger gets me as far as I can go.
