What\'s a good spotting scope that\'s not a Swarovski level price. Just good glass that won\'t break the bank??

I have heard a lot of good things about Vortex. I am interested to hear other\'s thoughts on this as well. I\'m thinking of picking one up sooner or later.

I\'m surprised Dana hasn\'t jumped in on this one. He used to be a Vortex dealer. I remember one time I looked thru one of his scopes at the bowhunters jamboree. I was totally amazed at the quality of Vortex.

I have never looked through a Vortex spotting scope, but their Viper binoculars are a great value. They are tough to beat for the money.

I\'m not so high on my Vortex 11x33 I believe it is. Set it up twice. IF u had an object in good light it might parallel a good set of 12x binocs. In the shadow\'s & shade\'s tho you can forget that. I hate it but just being honest. I was thoroughly discouraged!

I have a vortex, its great, very clear optics and really nice for the money, BUT...I bought the Redfield Rampage at BiMart on sale for $170 on sale as a backup and 2nd spotting scope for this years spring bear and all I can say is WOW!!!! great optics for the money!! I now have 2 pairs of redfield binos 8x32 and 10x42, the spotting scope, and two of their rifle scopes, im very very impressed, they have a lifetime guarantee, great customer service, and are produced in the same factory as leupold, use the same glass.
