For those of you who conceal carry, what do you guys typically carry?

I am a revolver freak, so I have two go to carry pieces.
One is my smith and wesson .38 snub nose with PP ammo and then my other is a snub nose .357 with PP ammo

I don\'t carry all the time but when I do or when I am hunting it is a Ruger LCR 357. Lightweight small frame and large BANG

well..... I don\'t carry concealed, my duty pistol is too big comfortably carry concealed. that is about to change..... I sold my duck boat, in preparation for the move. so I decided to finally buy a backup/off duty piece. requirements, small enough to carry on and off duty and be an auto. glocks new 42, .380, fits the bill. and I have been shooting glocks for 20 years, so I know the gun. anyways, I am picking one up tomorrow! and since its a work gun, I get a heck of a discount!!!

Glock27 IWB but hate how big it is. When I talk myself into opening my wallet I want to buy a g43.

I can also conceal my g29 but its a little bigger...

One of my prizes for winning at the RMEF calling championship\'s was a 1911 R1 Commander 45 auto !!

Trouble is I live in Canada and we require a restricted weapon to own a hand gun !! Even with that you are only allowed to go to the range and back home with zero stops in between !! If you get caught side tracked big trouble !!

This is all new to me !! Guess I\'m getting my restricted license !! Some guys secretly carry with all our Grizzly around !!

Wapiti, what I can\'t understand is why Canadian guides can\'t carry a loaded shotgun when taking clients out in Grizzly Bear country. I was on a caribou hunt, and my guide said I was supposed to give him my gun if we were attacked. We saw some bears, but apparently they don\'t care for the taste of Swedes. I was pleased that I did not appeal to the bears, as the guide was not allowed to have a gun. I had a 270 W, which is pretty light for a mature Grizzly.

hhhhhmmmm That seems weird to me as I can carry any shot gun or rifle any time of the year as long as you have your PAL ( Possession and acquisition ) License. I can even carry a gun ( shotgun or rifle ) during bow season with no questions asked !!

Maybe your guide had a suspended License ?? Plus why would you have to give the guide your weapon when you are the familiar one with it.......that really seems wrong. There is no way I would hand off my gun to someone else. Especially on a 1200 lb Grizzly. Heck I might need to shoot the guide !! LOL

That is a great prize!
I hope you can figure out how to get it home.

I\'ve held and shot the g43, it\'s very nice!!!
I\'d LOVE to have the g29 for the woods. :upthumb: :mg:

My CCW is a Springfield XDS 4\'\' in .45. Very easy to conceal and it is a good shooting pistol.

either m&p 40 or a sig p239. yes the M&P is full sized I have no problem concealing it both are comfortable but that is mainly due to holsters. I put them on a 5:00 each morning and it doesn\'t come off till I am ready for bed.

Just curious what holster you use? I recently purchased a Blackhawk Serpa with paddle for mine. I tried an inside the pants holster and didn\'t like it. Can\'t remember what brand though.

Same for me. I\'d like to get something a little smaller that I could carry on my ankle for days where I am dressed up. Tough to conceal when you have a button up shirt on that\'s tucked into dress pants!

Ruger LCP .380 with a laser in the summer and Glock 27 .40 in the cooler times of the year with heavier clothing. I don\'t like IWB so I go outside the waist band but under the belt with a hi ride holster. A T-shirt hides the .380 very well and a sweat shirt covers up the Glock. I find the Glock prints a little too much with lighter clothing. Probably most people wouldn\'t notice it but I\'m pretty self conscious about it. I know a cop that wears a vest in the summer to hide his but it looks sort of dorky.

How do the rest of you guys carry that conceals your weapon good?

Hey Swede, how did you smuggle a handgun into Canada on your caribou hunt anyhow?

Bill, I did not try to sneak one into Canada. I did not consider it, but I can be doubly glad, as they went through our truck for at least an hour at the border. I don\'t know why we were so \"lucky\". Probably it was because we had guns and ammo. Fortunately we had all of our papers ready.

\"White hat max tuck\" can wear with t shirt or the clips allow you to tuck shirt in between gun and pants I can wear it with shirt and tie and slacks or my regular carhartt and t-shirt then a jacket or sweatshirt is even easier. I did go up a size in my waist so I\'m not struggling to button pants

I wear some type of bib overall year round so the only way I found that suited me and everyone else was a small handgun in my right front pocket...
I have used nothing except the gun and with a cheap pocket holster both... I normally carry in the little pocket holster now...

I just assumed most folks know what a KelTec PF9 is but for those who don\'t it\'s a small composite frame semi-auto that has a 3.1\" barrel and a 7 round magazine... I always carry 1 in the tube so I have 8 rounds to get me out of a given situation... About 16 oz fully loaded...
