What weather do you prefer for a September backcountry bowhunt for elk?

I'm curious what other hunters think. What would be your ideal weather conditions if you were on a backcountry bow hunt in September for bugling elk?

I guess I prefer highs in the 50's, low's in the low 20's, overcast with a passing overnight rain shower every other night, light winds, and a new moon.

Elk Addict your pretty spot on but like Turbo Said: how often does that happen... usually i run into 80+ degree temps when im hunting.  I would love to hunt anything less than 70 degrees.

I like it to be in the 50-60 degree range and the mid 30s-40s at night since I do almost all backpack hunting and I'm not carrying a tent usually but a tarp for emergency rain haha. I can't believe it is only 3 1/2 months away!
