for the fourth. im not sure. wife is going up to kirksville to see family. im will either go with her or hang out here and play it by ear. i so need something to hunt. or a trip to plan

Not much really. Probably mow the trails out where I deer hunt. If my wife does not have to work we might go to the PBR bull ride Saturday afternoon.

Homework, yard work, working out, and then surgery monday... :problem:

I hope everyone enjoys their time off.

Scott, why don\'t you start planning a early spring hog hunt! I bet Trent would sure enjoy it!

Dan, sure hope everything goes well with the surgery! Climbing mountains might be just a little tougher with just one big toe! :p

Francis, what do you use to mow the trails? the same mower you use on your lawn? Making trail for them works good to bring them by.

Tim the mower is a ruff cut mower that I pull behind my 4 wheeler. It will cut brush up to 1 inch in diameter. It\'s made by Swisher.

a true wild hog hunt would be a blast, something i would love to do. never researched it though. there are a few wild hogs here in mo but not enough to go chasing. i would have to look at oklahoma prob. now, if anybody on here wants to meet me in ok for a hog hunt sometime lets talk.

Oklahoma is only a stone throw away!
That is where I whitetail hunt.

I also have hogs out there. I\'ve just never spent time focusing on them. If I did, I am sure I could locate some big boys!

Wow....just looked at the pictures even harder, that big boy passed my camera exactly one year ago today ;)

if life works out, i should be moved closer to my wife\'s job..and would have transfered offices for my job.

i dont want to move, but the idea of riding my bicycle to work everyday is damn ideal sounding. i heard the guys at the other office are not that fun or cool..a older crowd..but what the heck..i dont care. i can be pretty fun and cool by myself. :)

WHEN i move i will be a few freeway exits from Lake Sonoma. the lake is run by the Army corp of engineers. they had the smarts to topen up bowhunting at a rec area to keep the hogs stirred up. it keeps them from setting up permanent patterns to minimize erosion.

it cost a one time donation of $30 to hunt there. we get November to march to get it done. it is by far the more challenging hunt ever. at least couse deer are spottable from a distance. hogs are so smart.

when the dust settles wiht my life, i think it would be cool to camp at the lake and give it a huge GO! right now it takes me 1.5 hours ot get there..i hate that drive. there is one saecton that is one lane and it crawls. we could camp there.

i think it would be a good place to hunt super fair chase hogs..maybe we can host a hunt there. right in wine country.

this weekend? food and drink. and hiding from the hoodlums with \"a source\" to by big bomb fireworks. i have to stay with my dog. he freaks.

now yall got me wantin to go hog huntin, think i will start doing some research this weekend. maybe a trout trip tomorrow. watch baseball.

Let\'s start a new hog huntn thread. I\'m down! Myself and a few bowsiters are going to OK early 2016 and we could use a few extras.
