What's the coolest invention you've come up, only to discover it already exists?

My husband gets a chuckle out of my ideas.  One was the "range ref"-a handy reference guide for estimating target distances based on relative body size of the animal.  I also drew up plans for an extension device to increase a person's draw length since mine is a pathetic 23".  My latest idea is a portable zip line to make long distance packs on steep mountains a little easier.  He says we just need to get in better physical shape.  What have you come up with?

I thought about combining the zip line with a bike or hand crank to move the meat in a more efficient manner.  The anchor could be square tubing that mounts to a hitch on the vehicle.  I don't know it made my hunting partners laugh.  I guess it was good for something.

a packable hang glider for those days when you've just spent two hours humping up the mountain only to look across the drainage and see the herd on the adjacent mountain.
