80 days and I will be in the mountains chasing elk. :tease:

I get to live through all of your updates this year  :upthumb:

At the time of this post..... I head west in

67 Days, 11 hours,17 minutes, and 55 seconds
But who's counting  :)

Colorado's archery season officially opens in 68 days, 14 hours, 32 minutes. Unfortunately I won't be out for the opener, but hopefully sometime soon after that.

73 days til my home state Montana elk
86 days til I leave for New Mexico
thankfully a busy summer until then....

I'm truly blessed this year Tags in my pocket 1. CA Lassen Antelope (best hunt in the state) third week of August. 2. CA archery Deer tag in the Sierras same time as my antelope hunt, will go from my Antelope hunt to that. 3. AZ Archery elk Sept 14th (13 points to draw), 4.  Colorado 3rd season Deer tag first week of November.

So nice to draw some primo tags.

Great season!

I'll know more definitely days tomorrow once the WY pronghorn draw results are posted

But Im betting its 56 days until I draw my bow on an animal

Depends on which week I decide to hunt.

86 days from June 20th would be Sept 15th.

93 days is Sept 22nd.  My landowner tag in CO is valid from August 1st or 15th, can't remember, until Feb 28, 2019 and any weapon is allowed.  My deal with the landowner is me and a buddy would be done hunting before duck/goose season opens Oct 1st.

Only reason leaning towards the latter one is amount of activity around this week during the last 3 years.

65 loooooonnngggg days that will probably go by faster than I need them to.  It?s weekends until the 16th then it?s 7 days in the mountains in the backcountry.  Stoked

I believe 73 for me

Elk season is fluid this year. No set plan, just know I?m going somewhere, some time.
180 days to retirement is the reason. After that, elk hunt a couple states a year. Wife has already approved that plan.
