Where do you find elk?

I stumbled on this thread and wanted to share it again with you all. Some great information here. I will also put this in the archived tips. Feel free to expand onto this and add your thoughts as well!

Thanks all you experienced elk hunters for this info. I read them, copy them and paste them into a word document called elk hunting tips. I read them before a trip out west to refresh my memory.

Elk are found....where you find them. I contact bugle most of my bulls and have found elk where I do and also where don\'t expect them.

I hunt some extremly tough elk and country. So in order to increase my odds I choose to hunt are\'s \"proven\" to contain elk. And the only way to do that is to hunt the talkers.
