Where should i look for antlers?

I've tried looking for shed antlers a couple times within the past few weeks and haven't found any. I have tried walking fence, looked near water, and checked in thick brushy areas. The area that I've looked in is about 5,000 ft in elevation. The snow line is a bit higher. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few tips on where I might find them antlers or common places to find them. Thanks!

If you find the bulls in an area in january and february than leave them alone and the antlers will be there march and april , they usually stay in there winter spot till the drop

Get out now and find where the bulls are.  I have found bulls this time of year that are still packing.  If you find where the elk are now the sheds aren't going to be too far away.
