What better Easter Gift for an 11 year old than razor sharp broadheads that he can\'t use for another 5 months...

Recommendations?

timberland is right. also like slick tricks. stay with a little smaller cutting diameter for better penetration, an no mechanicals

Both of my boys started hunting big game with Magnus Stingers in the 2 blade model.
The oldest shot a big muley when he was 12. The broadhead blew through the buck with his bow set at 45 lbs.
I am sure that it would also be a great broadhead for elk with a light setup.

Only thing I could add to the above is maybe you can get WW to sharpen them, only problem then is you\'ll have to install them blindfolded.

i might be wrong, but in juaquamos article in extreme elk it states he is using a 53 lb recurve. i imagine if your sons shoots this summer he could easily be up to 45-46 lbs. out of a compound that would be similar to the ke of a recurve. an i believe it said juaq was using a muzzy 3 blade 125 gr. so my point is any of the good sharp broadheads out there will work fine. some that jump out to me are slick trick standards and exodus. whatever flies STRAIGHT from that bow will work fine. dont sweat it. just make sure its tuned an flying straight

I like 125 grain Montec G5s. They shoot well for me. Make sure whatever you choose they shoot well and they are cut on contact.
