Hello all, I am sure this ? has been ask many time's but please bear with me and your input will be truly appreciated. I am a very experienced DIY archery elk hunter and I am looking to upgrade my GPS. I have the first year Garmin etrex it has served me well but now I am wanting the mapping. I am looking to buy a new GPS that I can install the Hunting Statewide SD Chip. I am not a gadget genius and I am wondering if I need a GPS that already has maps installed or if the before mentioned chip is all I will need. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
