Leaving Illinois the 30th, couple days scouting then opening day!

I’m leaving Missouri Thursday, should have camp set up in New Mexico Friday or Saturday morning and then it’s game on Sunday!

I'm sitting at my computer opening day. BOOOO. I had two days I could hunt this weekend and I was up with food poisoning till after 1 am. I am going tomorrow Aug. 31. Then I have to work Sunday and Monday. I'm too behind on work projects to take off time for Labor Day. If I work now hopefully that opens up time for hunting later in the month. It's supposed to be in the 90s today anyway. My parents are out and haven't seen or heard a thing today.

Opening day here.
I’ve seen approx 15 bulls and over 60 cows.
It’s nice because they are bugling too.

Nothing super fired up, but they are talking.

Finally heard a couple bugles!

It was slow in Wyoming. Had 2-3 good days but bugles were early and late by mostly younger bulls.

Had a bull talking yesterday morning, then had 3 Texans walk through side hill and sent him over the top. Stupid people do stupid stuff.

At least you guys are hearing things and hunting. It’s been so hot I haven’t gone yet. Our weather cools off Wednesday and I will finally go out.
