Does anyone know how long it takes to get a new string from winners choice, when ordering from their website?

I typically get mine in 4-10 days depending on how backed up they are.  Some of the production has recently moved from Oregon to somewhere in the south, so it may be different.  Give them a shout.  They have an excellent customer service group.

Support those that support Elk101. Winners Choice are good strings (I have on on my bow now) but there are also a lot of good string makers these days and Sidehill is one!

so, i ended up getting a set from winner's choice...  the new strings upped my max draw weight by seven pounds....is this normal for new strings?  I'm assuming they'll stretch a tad and calm down after a while?

That usually indicates that your cables are to short. Measure your axle2axle and brace height if those are off that will tell you!

I had Sidehill make a set for my Carbon Element 2 years ago, awesome strings, guys!! No break-in, just set em and go! And I have a question for Billy.....bought a used Spyder Turbo last year for a backup bow, and it maxes out at 70 lbs with factory cables and strings. Would a set of Sidehill's get me a couple more pounds??

There's a good chance we could get you those couple lbs back. I'm assuming your cables probably stretched a bit. You could try putting 3 twist in each cable. By doing that you should be up around 72 lbs. The question will be if it stays stable or creeps back.

I am really liking.  Now that WC is no longer in the PNW I may be switching!
