Working out

chest, back, shoulders, shooting will be your best work out slowly increasing poundage. what are you trying to get up to?

thats a short jump you can also get some physical therapy stretch bands or medical tubing and draw it back like a bow add five pounds now just bump it to 55 and shoot for two months couple days a week till its comfortable then go 5 more by next season you can be to 65 if you want with lots of range time under your belt.

this will also give you a chance to learn your bow better bump it and dont change the sites till you can shoot fifty arrows with out being wobbly. see how much a 5 lb bump makes your sites react and your arrows flex.  its interesting to see what  poundage and new strings different sites or better arrows can change a bunch on your bow subtle to most  but to the familiar worlds of difference.

if you shoot 3-4 times a week, just turn your limb bolts a half turn once a week, you'll be surprised.  A half-turn on most bows is only 2-3 pounds.

I just started taking a TRX class, and it's great.  It hits your core and lots of back, shoulder stuff that you can adjust weight by just adjusting your angle.
