I wish I had a gopro. I shot my bulls this year and last from that distance. Last year\'s bull went excactly like that but I let him walk right by me. He stopped at 7 yards and I shot him. When he walked by I leaned back to give the arrow clearance :eek: . Nothing that I\'ve done compares to elk hunting!

We got a Go Pro but it seemed its just another thing to do and carry

It worked out well here tho!
 
This just motivates me to actually turn mine on...

I\'m the big dumby who brought mine out on my elk hunt, watched the elk come in, and then I just said \"meh, I will just focus on shooting the elk and not turn it on.\"


It would have been very cool.
 
that was a sweet vid! that\'s why I want a gopro. my bull this year would have been way worth it! maybe momma will get me one for xmas :cool:
 
I got a response on the video from the shooter Today:

I\'m pretty sure I watched the video with just the dialog before they put the music in, and I still didn\'t catch it :eh:

A little more attention to detail might make me a much better elk hunter :think:
 
at that distance you cant be \"aiming\" anymore right? just pointing that arrow?

and did that arrow pass-thru? great video..i am truly amazed. crazy how those guys didnt look more ecstatic..i would be grinning more :D or passed out.

I think it was \"personal\" with that bull. They had nicknamed him \"Two Tooth\", and had been chasing him for several years apparently.
Seems like they\'ve got that \"take that, you sumbich\" attitude going :lolno:

I think you could still see the arrow sticking out of him as he took off, which is surprising to me.
