Looking to go with an outfitter for a 2017 archery elk hunt..I'm building points but want to save them and going with a general hunt to get some experience.. 125 can be drawn on the special license. My other option would be the bighorns..looking for opinions on which area as well as any reputable outfitters in those areas..

Area 125 is across the road from the general unit areas where we hunt. Yes, you can draw it in the special draw but you will need to hire an outfitter to hunt it. There is no public access in or around Elk Mountain which is why nobody applies for that area. Land owners will not grant a lone hunter access.
