I guess I never really think of Oregon as a place I need to go to hunt elk. It is farther away than all the other locations as well. To get there, I would not only be leaving the elk in Colorado, but also passing elk in places like Utah, Wyoming, Montana or Idaho to get there. I guess I look at it like an elk hunt in Alaska. No need to go up there to shoot an elk.

7. A solo desert Nevada public land trophy hunt with <10% chance of success.
5. Wyoming mixed ranch and public land archery hunt with a friend.
