Has anyone hunted the Colorado's GMU70?  I assume that since it is OTC there will be PLENTY of company.  I was looking at north side of the Lizard Head Wilderness just south of woods lake or possibly around lone cone a little farther west.  It looks like a lot of thick timber and STEEP country...

A lot of people swear that the moon phase affects animal activity.  I lot of studies have had a tough time correlating the moon with movement or breeding activity.  What is your opinion?  Are elk more active in different moon phases?  Do you think it affects their rutting behavior?

Going to order some elk calls to start practicing.  How difficult is it to master mouth calls for elk?  I've been calling turkeys since I was about 12, but didn't know if there a big difference in turkey and elk calling. Also, what are some good videos for learning "what to say" to the elk?
