Short corn and tag alders. Actually opening weekend was a nice recovery period after 12 days below freezing and 15 inches of snow. Highs this week in the 20\'s so its back to winter

Thanks guys, yes it was public land. We saw over 80 bucks but only a small hand full of shooters.

I\'ve never been a true trophy hunter in most folks eyes... I\'ve aways hunted for the biggest buck but very seldom kill um... The antlers look good on the wall but the meat feeds my family and friends, antlers can\'t do that...
